Chest Prosthesis / Poland Syndrome
The chest prosthesis can be used for several aims, both for aesthetics and reconstructive purposes.
Its aesthetics version is used to increase and redefine the chest area obtaining a suitable aesthetics result and with only one incision. Poland syndrome, consists on the absent formation of the chest area. In this situation it is necessary the use of chest implants, as well as the lipofilling or fat filler techniques, for a natural result. With this the reconstructive and aesthetics result will be suitable and perfect for the patient’s chest.
In both cases we are dealing with surgical interventions under general anesthesia and does not require hospitalization. The return to the work life is the following week after the intervention and physical efforts must be avoided between 4 to 8 weeks.
We are specialists in aesthetics and reconstructive surgery and we will always assess and recommend you the best possible surgical procedure.
